We women are changing the world. Of that I am certain. We #choosetochallenge

As we inspire our daughters and encourage our sons by our examples of womanhood, we collectively show that this world is full of strong women. We are strong in our vulnerability, strong in speaking truth and strong in our gentleness. We women are full of diversity and grit, power and creativity, wisdom and wit.

May the women we are becoming, bestow resilience and nurture to other women needing our shoulder, our hands, our voices or our hearts to empower and cheer them on, in their best and worst days. May we search out awe and beauty in the world, advocate for equity loudly and boldly without apology, knowing deep within that we are forging paths for the ones who follow or sojourn beside us.

On International Women’s Day 2021, my prayer for each of you is: Remember that you are worthy of love and belonging and have a destiny to fulfil. You have wings, feet, hands, hearts and brains that are changing the world one person at a time. For yourself and those who follow, we #choosetochallenge

May the road rise up to meet you.

May the wind be always at your back.

May the sun shine warm upon your face;

the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again,
